Wm. Hermann and Son
Wm. Hermann and Son is a family owned and operated firm engaged in the manufacture of quality wood casework and church furniture. Founded in 1911 by William Hermann, our manufacturing facility is located on the Southside of Indianapolis.
William Hermann was a woodcarver engaged in the production of ornamental plaster and woodwork. The care and pride that he took in his craft was evident in such projects as the prosceniums of the Indiana and Circle theaters in Indianapolis. Our family carries on this same pride in workmanship today, now in our fifth generation as woodworkers.
The first church-seating job accomplished by the firm was in 1926, for Sacred Heart Parish on the south side of Indianapolis. In the years that followed, Wm. Hermann and Son has taken pride in the products that we have delivered to churches in Indiana and the surrounding states.
We are always available to assist the architect or owner in the design phase of a project with product information and estimates. We are flexible in modifications and special designs that your project may require. Another advantage that we offer is that you will be dealing with the manufacturer of the product, not a representative of a distant firm.
